GBM launches new AI lab in the UAE using Cisco and NVIDIA technology

Gulf Business Machines (GBM) has introduced the first artificial intelligence laboratory in the United Arab Emirates, utilizing a specialized infrastructure developed by Cisco and NVIDIA. This facility leverages the Cisco Secure AI Factory and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software to provide a comprehensive, full-stack environment. Designed to support organizations throughout the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, the lab allows companies to move artificial intelligence projects from the testing phase into active production much faster than traditional methods.

The initiative aims to reduce deployment schedules from several months to just a few weeks by offering modular, pre-validated hardware and networking. This setup is particularly significant for businesses managing sensitive data, as it supports sovereign AI needs such as local data residency, high-speed processing, and strict security protocols. By integrating security directly into the hardware and monitoring workloads in real time, the platform helps enterprises navigate complex regulatory compliance and operational challenges during their digital transformation.
