SpaceX reaches orbit with first Starship launch and new satellites
SpaceX achieved a significant milestone on Monday morning by successfully completing the first orbital launch of its Starship rocket. This achievement follows 14 flight attempts, marking the first time the super-heavy vehicle has technically reached low-Earth orbit. During this mission, the company also deployed the initial 26 satellites belonging to the new Starlink V3 generation.
This successful deployment is critical because it opens substantial expansion opportunities for the Starlink satellite internet network. By proving the orbital capabilities of the Starship system, SpaceX has established a new foundation for increasing its global connectivity capacity through more advanced satellite technology.
