Trump wants to change how people talk about artificial intelligence
President Donald Trump has proposed rebranding artificial intelligence as "super intelligence," a move aimed at accelerating the technology while framing the term "artificial" negatively. While much of the general public continues to use the standard AI acronym, several prominent figures within Silicon Valley are beginning to adopt this new terminology. Notably, Elon Musk has signaled his support for the shift by pledging to rename SpaceXAI to SpaceXSI.
This linguistic transition could have practical implications for the corporate sector. As major tech entities adopt the "super intelligence" label, businesses may eventually face requirements to update their internal processes. This could include modifying how companies generate, distribute, or document invoices and tax filings to remain compliant with evolving industry standards or official nomenclature.
